Sporty. Comfortable. Impressive.
A sporting understatement
The all-new Golf GTD shows off what it is capable of – and that’s not just down to the GTD lettering. For instance, the powerful bumpers and a honeycomb design on the radiator grille add to the effect. Adding an exciting contrast is the elegant chrome trim strip that stretches across the front all the way to the striking LED headlights. At the sides, the dynamic overall impression is emphasised by the lowered body, which is combined with the extended side aprons. At the rear, the all-new Golf GTD stands out with its chrome-plated twin exhaust tailpipe, roof spoiler and LED tail light clusters.
Looking good for you: the range of wheels for the all-new Golf GTD.
The wheel and tyre combination that is right for your all-new Golf GTD is a matter of opinion. Alloy wheels certainly emphasise the sportiness of the all-new Golf GTD.
The highlight in your Golf GTD: IQ.LIGHT
The all-new Golf GTD is already fitted with visibly dynamic LED headlights as standard that stretch all the way round to the side wings, while sleek LED tail light clusters dominate at the rear. Your Golf GTD is also equipped with IQ.LIGHTs. In this case, extra powerful LED matrix headlights fitted with “Dynamic Light Assist” main-beam control light up the road. The package also includes innovative dynamic turn signals that use an animated strip of lights to show which way you are turning.
Exterior background lighting
Easy to find, night and day.
With exterior background lighting, the all-new Golf GTD will welcome you before you’ve even climbed aboard: Operate your remote control key or, if you’ve opted for the optional Keyless Access with Advanced system, start to approach the vehicle and the headlights and tail lights will light up. The door handle recesses and chrome strip in the radiator grille will also light up and your Golf GTD will welcome you with light projected out of the exterior mirrors onto the floor.
